Apologies for the tardiness and shortness of these comments. My vacation arrived before I had time to write.
Curb Your Enthusiasm - 807 - The Bi-Sexual
I was more interested in the whole Larry v Rosie stuff than the baseball analogy. It was clever but I suppose I was too removed from it to find it that funny. I liked the episode in general though and I thought Rosie was one of the better guest stars. It's not easy to make the unscripted banter with Larry seem real but she did a good job.
True Blood - 409 - Run
I wish Maria wasn't so blatantly a bad guy already. I liked the idea of humans standing up to vampires. The ending was solid though as Maria provides a devastating spectacle of killing to match what Russel Edgington provided last season.
I was pleased to see an apparently clean resolution to the evil baby story. But I'm sure there is more misery on the way.
Sookie's dirty dreams about Bill and Eric aren't subtle in their girl-fantasy bait. At the moment there isn't much danger in Eric trying to kill Bill. None of those characters are going anywhere.
