Episode 13 - TOA The Superbowl (2)

Synopsis: A celebrity filled two-part episode. Chandler runs into a girl he once humiliated in elementary school and starts to date her. Monica and Rachel fight over who can date Jean-Claude Van Damme. Ross ends up spending some time with Marcell.
The Good: Monica and Rachel are good as they get bitchy and start fighting each other. Ross and Joey have nice scenes talking about Marcell. But Chandler steals yet another show with his story opposite Julia Roberts. His dialogue when she is not around is even funnier than her leaving him stranded in the toilets with panties on. Overall a really fun episode.
The Bad: Obviously nothing here has any real consequence. Both Marcell and Jean Claude Van Damme are unconvincing as being part of a real story so the episode doesn’t genuinely feel like part of their lives. None of these events are referenced again in later episodes for example but one could say the same about a other stories in the show.
Best Line: (Ra) “Does anybody need anything?”
(M) “I’ll have an espresso. Oh actually I’ll get it. If I ask you to you’ll probably end up drinking it yourself.”
(Ra) “That is so unfair.”
(P) “I know. Like you would drink her coffee after what you did to her with Van Damme.”
