Episode 10 - TOW Russ

Synopsis: Joey has a moral dilemma over sleeping with a casting director in order to get a part. Rachel starts dating a guy who is just like Ross and Monica helps “Fun Bobby” give up alcohol.
The Good: The Joey plot is great as he faces a real dilemma for an actor and resolves it true to his character. As dumb as the Russ story is its execution is good for the odd laugh.
The Bad: Both the Russ and Fun Bobby stories are classic cheesy sit com plots. The “complete lookalike” plot is so unbelievable that it only works if it is really funny and this is not quite that good. Meanwhile the “character loses one thing and suddenly completely changes” plot is also very unreal. It is ok here as the other characters react to him in entertaining ways, but as a reflection of real life it is pretty stupid.
Best Line: (P) “We have to celebrate, you know what we should do, we should do like a soap opera theme.”
(C) “Hey yeah! We could all sleep together and then one of us could get amnesia.”
