Episode 2 - TOW The Breast Milk

Synopsis: Ross looks after Ben but won’t taste Carol’s breast milk. Joey tries to be the best fragrance sampler in a department store and Monica befriends Julie which upsets Rachel.
The Good: Good lines are not hard to find. The writers are in full on parody mode here as Monica taking Julie shopping becomes like sex and Joey and Chandler have a cowboy-in-the-saloon scene. They are fun to watch but having two together perhaps shows the writers have a one track mind.
The Bad: The plots are pretty thin and pointless. The Joey story is harmless fluff while the breast milk is an ok idea but there is not much to it. Considering she only realised she liked Ross so recently, Rachel is very difficult to sympathise with. Her behaviour is unreasonable (particularly toward Monica who was being kind to her brother) but at least in the end she handles it in a reasonable manner. However she seems to almost admit that she likes Ross in her conversation with Julie. Wouldn’t Julie mention that to him?
Best Line: (Ro) “Will you guys grow up. This is the most natural, beautiful thing in the world.”
(J) “Yeah we know but there’s a baby sucking on it.”
