Episode 11 - TOW All The Resolutions

Synopsis: The friends all make new years resolutions. Phoebe tries to teach Joey the guitar and Chandler tries to stop mocking people. Meanwhile Ross buys some leather pants and Rachel finds out about Monica and Chandler.
The Good: A really good episode. It’s funny throughout and adds to the main arc plot. Chandler is well used here as his frustration is funny to see and his energy is good. Rachel’s reaction after overhearing Monica on the phone is very fun. She and Joey have a really good scene together trying to work out who knows what. Ross is suitably desperate in his scenes and does a great job making his humiliation funny.
The Bad: But this is just the start of the humiliations which Ross will go through. The original Ross character would never get into these situations but even if you ignore that there comes a point when constantly embarrassing someone is not funny anymore. Fortunately this is not a problem here. Phoebe is though; her illogical methods of teaching are annoying to watch and her piloting aspirations are silly. Oh yeah and Ross thinks Monica will blind his child by taking photos of him? What the hell is that?
Best Line: (R) “I am gonna be happy this year, I am gonna make myself happy.”
(C) “Do you want us to leave the room?”
