Synopsis: The guys take Ross to a hockey game to take his mind off the anniversary of the first time he slept with Carol. Meanwhile Rachel’s old friends appear and make her question her new life.
The Good: Both stories are good here as Rachel and Ross come to terms with the big changes in their lives. Chandler is sharp as ever and both Joey and Phoebe are funny. They are both the third member of their group but contribute enormously by misunderstanding the point of conversations and making them humorous.
The Bad: It’s not entirely clear why Rachel suddenly feels better at the end of the episode, but I suppose we get the point – that her new friends will help her through it.

(M) “Hey Joey what would you do if you were omnipotent?”
(J) “I’d probably kill myself.”
(M) “Excuse me?”
(J) “Hey if little Joey’s dead, then I got no reason to live.”
(Ro) “Joey, OM-nipotent.”
(J) “You are? Ross I’m sorry.”
