Episode 13 - TOW Chandler Takes a Bath

Synopsis: Monica makes Chandler take a bath and he soon loves them. Between them and Phoebe they discover Joey’s crush on Rachel. Meanwhile Ross and Rachel discuss baby names and then find out they are going to have a girl.
The Good: Ross and Rachel have some pleasant scenes discussing baby names. Ross’ paranoia about Rachel trying to trick him is quite funny. Joey is sweet as he struggles with his feelings for Rachel. Chandler and Monica’s bath story is inoffensive and it’s nice to see them being nice to each other and not mocking.
The Bad: Phoebe suggests that Ross gets five vetoes on baby names and yet he uses them all immediately. Phoebe displays more arrogance and unkind behaviour by suggesting Chandler likes her more than Monica. Chandler’s acting is forced in places, his humour has become obvious and lame – Joey doesn’t want food, this problem must be serious! An episode that goes quietly about its business, neither very entertaining nor too annoying.
Best Line: (Ro) “Unless, you anticipated that I would figure all this out and you know that it actually is a girl and you really do want her to be named Ruth. Well I’m not falling for that. Ruth is off the table!”
(Ra) “But Ross, you want the name Ruth.”
(Ro) “Not like this!”
