Episode 21 - TOW The Cooking Class

25 March 2012

Synopsis: Monica’s cooking gets a bad review and she ends up in a cooking for beginner’s class trying to make herself feel better. Chandler is interviewing for a new job and Phoebe gives him advice on how to make a good impression. Meanwhile Ross and Rachel are buying baby stuff and the issue of their relationship keeps coming up.

The Good: The Ross and Rachel plot is very good. They manage to make both of them seem sympathetic and likeable and the issue of their relationship comes up logically. The Chandler plot is passable but nothing of much interest happens.

The Bad: As usual though, the writers don’t know how to handle Ross and Rachel’s relationship, refusing once more to come to any sort of conclusion. The Monica story is ok but is a little lame. She just seems stupid and needy. A quiet episode.

Best Line: (Baby store sales girl) “A palaeontologist who works out. You’re like Indiana Jones.”
(Ro - thoughtfully) “I am like Indiana Jones.”

Best Friend: Rachel
