Episode 14 - TOW The Secret Closet

Synopsis: Joey feels uncomfortable taking Ross’ place looking after Rachel, Phoebe gives Monica a massage and Chandler tries to open the locked closet by the bathroom.
The Good: Ross missing out on the pregnancy makes sense. Joey is kind to both Ross and Rachel throughout and it’s nice to see him be so mature.
The Bad: Monica making sex noises while Phoebe massages her is not a bad idea. It’s a plausible situation but it plays out poorly. First we see Phoebe is barely massaging her when she is faking ecstasy. Then she acts completely oblivious to her very obvious noises. Monica’s messy closet is more confusing as a story than anything else. The end seems to imply that Monica really is messy or unorganised deep down, which if true, sells out her character. But I think it is meant to be a corner of chaos in her otherwise ordered world. In which case it is just a dull story.
Best Line: (P) “How long has this been going on?”
(M) “Well, um Alexandra has been...”
(P) “Oh, it has a name!”
