Episode 2 - TOW Emma Cries

25 March 2012

Synopsis: Ross is still angry at Rachel and Joey for the marriage proposal. When he confronts Joey he ends up trying to punch him and breaking his thumb. Chandler falls asleep in a meeting and volunteers to move to Tulsa. Rachel wakes Emma and needs Monica’s help to stop her crying.

The Good: Ross and Joey create all the good jokes and they do surprisingly well with the punching each other story.

The Bad: The entire Chandler goes to Tulsa plot is pointless and implausible. It doesn’t do anything for the show. The baby crying is annoying, but not as annoying as Phoebe who has to be the worst friend in the world, constantly being rude and unhelpful. There is also Joey using quote marks, Monica calling Chandler gay, his ridiculous attempts to flatter his boss and Phoebe hearing voices in her head. All a load of rubbish. Typically bad lazy writing.

Best Line: (J) “See this is what I was afraid of, I didn’t think I should be here either but somebody said he’d be over it by now.”
(C) “Hey what do I know? I wanted to get a bigger gorilla.”

Best Friend: Joey
