Episode 4 - Ron and Tammy Part Two

I thought this was just ok. I did like the introduction of the idea of Ron and Tammy last season. However I didn't think this version of it was very funny or interesting. Ron knew full well what Tammy was up to and yet he fell under her sexual spell once more. Seeing Ron throw off his identity for an episode should be fun but something about the jump to him in a jail cell with dreadlocks didn't do it for me. It was too obvious.

Having said that if this puts an end to the Ron\Wendy\Tom story then that is fine. It was good to see Tom do right by Ron (who he admits he likes as a boss) and I think it's better to leave both men single going forward. The other plot developments were equally good. Ben starts to fall for Leslie for sure now as he sees how much her selfless enthusiasm has won over other people. Chris is headed back to Indianapolis and asks April to go with him which should lead to some good Ann\Andy declarations of feelings or otherwise. Though it would have been nice to see why Chris liked April as his assistant rather than just a couple of scenes of her being laid back and sarcastic.

Now I should also say that there were gags that I thought worked. For once I was pleased to see everyone mock Jerry as he foolishly went along with Ron's happy news instead of understanding how toxic Tammy really is. And I couldn't help but laugh at this exchange between Ron and Tammy.
T: "Last night, I faked four out of the seven."
R: (Satisfied smile) "So did I."
