Phoebe covers for Rachel but eventually Monica discovers that she is pregnant. Ross tries to impress a woman at the reception and Joey tries to impress a Broadway producer.

Rachel won’t tell anyone who the father of her baby is but Joey figures out that it must be the owner of a red sweater he found in the apartment. Joey proposes to both Phoebe and then Rachel when he thinks they are going to be single mothers. Meanwhile Monica opens all the wedding presents without Chandler and he and Ross can’t find the disposable cameras from the reception and so fake as many pictures as they can.

Rachel tells Ross that he is the father. Monica and Chandler go on their honeymoon while Phoebe and Joey try to get into their apartment.

Ross accidentally filmed the night Rachel got pregnant and Monica and Chandler are excited to have met a couple to hang out with.

Phoebe starts dating a very sweet guy from Monica’s restaurant. However she wants to end things with him just as Monica wants to fire him. They both want to avoid being the bad guy. Rachel goes out with an actor from Days of Our Lives and it makes Ross feel confused about what the future will be with them and the baby. Meanwhile Chandler tries to avoid working with a guy who has called him Toby for the last five years and ends up costing him a promotion.

Monica and Chandler host a Halloween costume party. Rachel hands out candy at the door but rapidly learns she doesn’t know how to deal with children. Ross and Chandler arm wrestle to discover who is stronger and Phoebe warns Ursula’s fiancée off marrying her.

Chandler hires a maid and Monica thinks she is stealing from them, Ross tries to find Rachel an apartment in his building and Phoebe dates Eric, Ursula’s ex-fiancé.

Rachel tells her Dad about her pregnancy while Monica accidentally hires a hooker for Chandler’s bachelor party.

Ross’ old high school friend Will (Brad Pitt) comes for thanksgiving dinner. He still hates Rachel for how she treated him in high school and tells her how Ross used to hate her as well. Joey convinces Monica that he will finish all of the turkey she has to cook even though only three of the friends will eat it.

Monica buys very expensive boots but they hurt her feet. Phoebe discovers that Sting’s son is in Ben’s class at school and tries to convince Ross to get her some concert tickets. Joey brings his sister Dina to see Rachel and soon finds out that she is pregnant.

Monica hates Chandler’s boss, so Chandler tells him that they have split up. Ross gets scared by Mona asking where their relationship is going. So to avoid the conversation he gives her a key to his apartment and then changes the locks. Rachel is in the horny stage of pregnancy, so Phoebe tries to help her.

Rachel is contemplating life without dating now that the baby is on the way, so Joey takes her out on a date. Phoebe buys a Ms Pac-Man arcade machine for Monica and Chandler and Ross has to race across town three times a week to teach a graduate class which is too far away to get to.

Monica makes Chandler take a bath and he soon loves them. Between them and Phoebe they discover Joey’s crush on Rachel. Meanwhile Ross and Rachel discuss baby names and then find out they are going to have a girl.

Joey feels uncomfortable taking Ross’ place looking after Rachel, Phoebe gives Monica a massage and Chandler tries to open the locked closet by the bathroom.

Phoebe lends Rachel a birthing video but Monica and Chandler end up watching it and freaking out at the pain involved. Ross doesn’t tell Mona that Rachel has moved in with him and so she dumps him. Joey tells Ross that he loves Rachel.

Ross tells Joey to tell Rachel how he feels and so he does. Phoebe thinks she has met Monica’s soul-mate causing Chandler to feel insecure.

Rachel makes up a work problem so that she and Joey have something to talk about. Ross goes back to Mona’s to find his favourite pink shirt. Meanwhile Phoebe reads the tea leaves and it says she will find her dream guy but instead she ends up with a creep.

It’s the Gellar’s 35th Wedding Anniversary and all the friends plus Parker, Phoebe’s new boyfriend, head out to Massapequa for the party. Parker begins to annoy everyone with his incessant positivity. Meanwhile Ross’ parents have told everyone that he and Rachel are married, so they play along. Monica tries hard to make her parents cry when she gives the toast.

Joey gets an interview with Soap Opera Digest. He is worried he will say something like he did last time when his comments cost him his job. He brings the friends along to prevent him from saying anything foolish. A clip show with a structure.

Monica and Phoebe forget to invite Rachel’s mum to her baby shower. When she arrives she offers to live with Rachel and Ross to help with the baby. Meanwhile Joey gets the guys to help him practise for the role of host on a new game show.

Monica’s cooking gets a bad review and she ends up in a cooking for beginner’s class trying to make herself feel better. Chandler is interviewing for a new job and Phoebe gives him advice on how to make a good impression. Meanwhile Ross and Rachel are buying baby stuff and the issue of their relationship keeps coming up.

Rachel gets increasingly irritable as her pregnancy goes on longer and longer. Joey takes Chandler to his big movie premiere and Monica keeps betting Phoebe as to when Rachel will go into labour.

Rachel is in labour for a long time as she and Ross have to negotiate a series of annoying pregnant couples. Monica tries to freak out Chandler by suggesting they start trying for a baby and Phoebe meets an attractive patient.

Rachel gives birth to Emma and Janice makes her worry that Ross will eventually leave her and the baby alone. Monica and Chandler start trying to conceive and Phoebe continues to lie to Clifford.
