Episode 15 - TOW Joey's New Brain

Review
Synopsis: Joey learns he will return to Days of Our Lives with a woman’s brain and befriends the actress currently playing the woman (Susan Sarandon). Rachel and Phoebe find a cell phone and Ross tries to learn the bagpipes for Monica and Chandler’s wedding. The Good: The Joey plot is very good. It feels like a long time since the show created a good character and story for a guest star. She is sympathetic, Joey is sweet and they get good jokes from their story. Credit to the writers and to Susan Sarandon. The other plots are stupid but not too annoying. The Bad: They are not good though. Ross is made to look like a pillock once more. Phoebe thinking the old guy is hot is an incredibly lame way out of the story. Both secondary stories are just lazy writing. Best Line: (Ro) “A brain transplant? It’s ridiculous!”
(J) “Well, I think it’s ridiculous that you haven’t had sex in 3 and a half months.”
(Ro) “It’s winter. There are fewer people on the street.” Best Friend: Joey
