Episode 5 - TOW Rachel's Sister Babysits

Review
Synopsis: Rachel’s sister Amy visits and ends up getting Emma’s ears pierced without asking permission. Joey writes a letter of recommendation for Chandler and Monica’s adoption application and Mike tries to propose to Phoebe. The Good: The odd line is passable. The Bad: Joey is a child-like imbecile. Chandler gets mocked horrendously as does Monica. None of them fit who their characters were and real friends don’t treat each other like that. Amy is an appalling character, appallingly written. She has no basis in reality and is just awful. Obliviously criticising babies, marrying old men and forgetting who Ross is – difficult to see how it could be worse. Again the Phoebe and Mike story might be ok if Mike were more likeable or seemed suited to Phoebe in some way. But he doesn’t, she is her annoying self and this sucks. Best Line: (Charlie) “So you know, I have a little time, if you wanna…”
(Ro) “Oh, oooh, I’d love to but I really have to grade these papers.”
(Cha) “Fine, it’s fine. I’ll just shower by myself.”
(Ro) “B, B, B, B, B.”
(Cha) “Uh Ross you gave a B to a Pottery Barn catalogue.”
(Ro) “Well it had some good ideas. Take off your shirt.” Best Friend: Joey
