Episode 12 - TOW They are up all Night

Review
Synopsis: All the friends plus Tag are up on the roof looking for a comet and after they leave they all have trouble getting to sleep. Joey and Ross are stuck on the roof, Rachel and Tag have to go back to their office, Monica and Chandler keep waking each other and Phoebe is molested by her smoke alarm. The Good: This is a case of two good stories and two bad. Joey and Ross are the most fun and the visual of them climbing down each other is really amusing television. Rachel and Tag are good value as well; their banter makes them seem like a real couple. Rachel plays her character perfectly as she discovers her mistake and tries to pin it on Tag. Her closing line is a pitch perfect conclusion as she tries to get out of her mess in a believable way. The Bad: Meanwhile Monica and Chandler have a pretty dull story. Easy jokes about sex and cleaning wash over you and there is not much to get interested in. Phoebe’s battle with her fire alarm is awful. It would have just been dull except that she smashes the alarm to pieces so the joke is based on the alarm breaking the laws of physics. It’s pretty dumb stuff. Best Line: (Ra) “You put these on my desk.”
(Tag) “I did not.”
(Ra) “Oh really? So you’re saying that they just slid out of your bottom draw crawled across the floor then jumped onto my desk?”
(T) “How did you know they were in my bottom draw?”
(Ra pauses) “I am so hot for you right now.” Best Friend: Ross
